14 Jul Allie & Spencer | Tanque Verde Ranch | Tucson Wedding
While Boston is the meeting place of Allie & Spencer, Tanque Verde Ranch in Tucson is the setting for their wedding. After rescheduling their wedding date multiple times (as many couples have), their day was definitely worth the wait.
"The Barn" at the ranch is the perfect wedding ceremony and reception headquarters. Also, surrounding themselves with some of the best vendors in town, we just knew their day was going to be spectacular.
Arriving on site, a group of beautiful ladies were enjoying their afternoon in the bridal prep suite. Lark from I Do Makeup and Hair Artistry was putting the final touches on Allie. Her smile and excitement was infectious, it was finally her day.
In addition, when the videographer and photographers arrive, it gets real! All the planning, organizing, and details are in place and it is go time.
Also, we feel very fortunate that all of the vendors are friends of ours and extremely professional. For Allie & Spencer's wedding we had the pleasure of working next to Tad; owner of TS Cinema Videography.
We love to photograph the details to set the stage for every couple's images. It also provide us with insight on colors and textures we will incorporate throughout the day. Alexis Grace of Alexis Grace Floral Design always designs stellar bouquets, archway flowers, and centerpieces; this wedding was no exception.
The bridge at Lake Corchran is the perfect spot for a groom to see his bride for a first look. These are always exciting moments to capture and some of our favorites of the day.
The wedding ceremony at "The Barn" provides some of the best views of the desert we have ever seen. The elevated stage is the prefect place to say "I do." Adding to that perfection, Allie's cousin officiated the ceremony. Her heart felt introduction on the couple's background and story had everyone in happy tears.
Allie & Spencer included many unique items to complement their day. A puzzle piece guest book, succulents adorning every table, and a dessert table the size of a truck were guest favorites. Passed prickly pear margaritas were also a favorite.
Sarah Detmer Events plays a key role in ensuring success of the entire day. Sarah is an organized event panner that takes the stress out of planning one of the biggest days of a couple's life. Picture below; Sarah's team looks on during the wedding ceremony.
Tanque Verde Ranch is one location in Tucson Arizona couples are pretty much guaranteed to have a sunset. Up a dirt road brings us to Old Homestead. Old Homestead was built in the 1930's for the owners and it stands as a popular photography destination.
Everyone's favorite part of a wedding is the reception. Allie & Spencer's reception was filled with some of the best dance moves and music we have seen in a while. Helping with the vibe is our friend Andy owner of Satyr Entertainment.
We always recommend hiring a DJ that is experienced and knows how to get everyone out of their seats. This makes for some great dance photos.
Allie & Spencer's wedding day was a complete success and we look forward to working with this team again.
