Courthouse/Downtown Tucson

A courthouse wedding in Tucson, Arizona at the Pima County Justice Court is a beautiful option especially with a photo session around the downtown area after you say "I do".

To get married in the Tucson courthouse, the couple must arrive together to obtain a marriage license for around $80. You will need 2 witnesses (fun fact: we have been the witnesses in past weddings!). You can get married as soon as you obtain the license. Photographers are allowed during the ceremony.

On the day of the Courthouse wedding couples need to arrive by 4:30p to check in. We can always meet you at the courthouse either before or after your photo session around downtown. In our experience, the judges have always been very kind and professional.

We love to capture your family and friends group photo after the ceremony. This is a joyous occasion and you can feel the excitement with all the couples in the courthouse. We have noticed that it can be busy for check in so please make sure to arrive on time or even early to avoid long wait times.

As Tucson wedding photographers, we love the idea of a courthouse wedding. Our couples seem more at ease as there is less stress than trying to plan an entire wedding day. We have had some of our best sessions after a courthouse wedding! Downtown Tucson offers unique backdrops we can use for family photos and the couples portraits.
