The courtyard within The Stillwell House and Gardens in Tucson, Arizona is an incredible place to have a wedding. In fact, there is very little decorating couples need to do. This gem in downtown Tucson is naturally perfect. However, Laura and Shawn added just the right touches of beauty to the venue with the help of top florist Alexis Grace.

Laura and Shawn are both Marines that were working in the reserve unit in Tucson. Despite having mutual friends, the two had never met. Shawn decides to message Laura on Facebook one day and asks how her deployment was going. The conversation continued and he asks if he could meet up with her and buy her a beer. Both conversationalists and craft beer drinkers, it was a match made at Trident Bar & Grill.

Laura and Shawn surround themselves with really great people. Their friend and officiant, Bobby, opened their ceremony by quoting the Princess Bride. “Mawage....mawage is what bwings us togeva today”. After this line, we knew we were in for a great wedding.

It just so happens, these two have friends in the wine and beer industry. Carlson Creek Wine and Ten55 Brewery supplied the drinks. El Charro supplied the food. Everyone was satisfied.  So much so, at one point, they ran out of beer. Chris, owner of Ten55, said "Hold on someone at Pueblo Vida down the street owes me one". He came back with a dolly carting another keg!

This was how the entire night went. Great friends celebrating two really awesome people. Laura and Shawn are people you want to hang out with. They even own their own killer business, Bootleg Barrelcraft. Thank you both for letting us capture your day!
